Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

It's like a revised Toro. No new tech, same specs as most of the Revo lineup. Pretty bland compared to the new Zillion, although the Zillion seems to just be a rehashed Tatula. I would have much preferred to see a 13 reel win this. At least it;s not the Duckett :lol:

Given that the new zillion is basically a pimped tatula I can see why it didn't win. But a revo besting a conquest? That's a trip.

I think the conquest reel should have won this. Anyways, Shimano solved a problem that happens when you get your finger stuck in the levelwind. Watch the video at 1:27 where the Shimano Rep talks about this. Kudos to shimano.

It happened to me a couple of times and that's why it stuck out at me when I was watching the video on tacklewarehouse.
