Re: TWS??? Now no problems!!!
Pardon the ignorance but does this modification not cancel out the supposed advantage of the T Wing over conventional designs? The line is no longer free to move side to side when casting but must pass through a single point. Or am I missing something?

Good luck with your reel modification. However, aren't you just moving any potential wear spot, you can see in the photo how the line still changes direction in the TWS. I am not doubting your idea, just asking for clarification.

Is it just me, or are there people that really need to read their post before posting... trying to follow this post but I can only understand half of what is being posted, I would buy a modified t-wing if someone started doing them professionally, just to try to see how different it is and to see if its a cure for the grooving issue.

Did you read the post? He is Russian, so English is likely not his primary language. I am not trying to come off as a jerk, just sayin. And I would agree that sometimes people should read through their posts.k3fishing wrote:Is it just me, or are there people that really need to read their post before posting... trying to follow this post but I can only understand half of what is being posted, I would buy a modified t-wing if someone started doing them professionally, just to try to see how different it is and to see if its a cure for the grooving issue.

Sorry oleg, you are the only one that gets a pass. I was not referring to you. Again sorry about that. ..I'll change it to this, if you are from the US your post should not be as confusing as this guy from Russia, he doesn't speak English. And you would not have that excuse.

Nice job Oleg.

The guy is Russian...I think he did fairly well. I wonder if you tried to respond in Russian, how your post would look?k3fishing wrote:Is it just me, or are there people that really need to read their post before posting... trying to follow this post but I can only understand half of what is being posted, I would buy a modified t-wing if someone started doing them professionally, just to try to see how different it is and to see if its a cure for the grooving issue.
