ICAST-2015

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I will only be happy if there is a SV 103 in the near future.
There is.

Seems Cheeky (fly reel company) will be introducing some spinning reels this year at Icast. Expect bright bold colors as they are known for with their fly reels.

There was the Steez SV, Alphas SV, SV 105HS, Zillion HD and exist spinning. I don't know if that's the whole line up or just the headliners.

Then I shall continue to wait patiently! It just surprised me to see it in the post.

I told in the beginning - they won't release OG Zillion SV, this is a dead platform for Daiwa.

I've hoping, but all along didn't think it would happen. Guess I can wait 2 more days for the final nail in the OG Zillion coffin. Sure would love a Zillion SV spool.

Daiwa won't make that spool ever, IMHO. It is same as cut the branch you sit on for them, many folks won't buy new reels in that case, because they would use old Zillions practically forever.
