TD-Z spool question

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

TD-Z spool question

Did regular TD-Zs ever have a red spool brake rotor? I was working on/swapping parts on some of mine and realized that most had red brake rotors. Some of these I picked up off of the auction site, etc. over the years and I guess I never noticed. Others have the regular gold rotor. Did I happen to get lucky and score some Type R spools?

Yes u did, regular 103h spools were gold, Type R/R+ spools were red

Depends which red rotor u have u might have a Type R+ (groove) or Type R (non groove)
