Re: SV 103?
I'm pumped about that reel can't wait. Think it looks so much sharper than the jdm alpha sv.
Re: SV 103?
The 103 is the zillion base not the alpha that's the 105
Re: SV 103?
They are supposed to be released sometime in August.
Re: SV 103?
Thanks, looking forward to this reel. I really enjoy my alphas sv and ss sv and think this will be a superb heavier application reel.

I hope they moved it up, I was told they weren't being released until January.big_gee wrote:They are supposed to be released sometime in August.

Hey, Bronzefly, when you get the scoop let us know! I'm debating the SS air 8.1 or the aforementioned 103....the air doesn't seem to be too versatile though.bronzefly wrote:I hope they moved it up, I was told they weren't being released until January.big_gee wrote:They are supposed to be released sometime in August.

Re: SV 103?
will have to wait till the new year before i can get the SV spools to test out. using the PE and j-dream spools really brings out the best of the zillion platform. The HLC just bombs frogs a MILE!!

Re: SV 103?
Wondering, are they going to make similar reel for Japanese market?
Re: SV 103?
I was at Daiwa last week and I was told August and not January. They are releasing reels earlier then they used to. We used to have to wait but not anymore. I plan on picking a few up. I need to pair one up with my new Steez XT.

Re: SV 103?
I have the alphas sv and ss air and if its versatility your after it will be the sv103 all day. The ss air is a niche reel and it excels at what it was designed to do but not much else. If you want to zing 1/16oz rooster tails a good ways without fear of backlash the ss air rocks. If you want a good do it all reel sv103 is the way to go.Demoman wrote:Hey, Bronzefly, when you get the scoop let us know! I am really looking forward to real time testing of the 103 SV spool compared to these spools plus TDZ 100m. I quess is SV compatible is the big question.cndbasshunter wrote:will have to wait till the new year before i can get the SV spools to test out. using the PE and j-dream spools really brings out the best of the zillion platform.
