Limited Edition Concepts

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Limited Edition Concepts

Anyone getting one. TW will have them for online sales only. They look sweet and feature trickshop parts (including KP spools) and custom paint.

I wonder if they have detailed pics because the few i saw had chips and scratches. TW website says some have imperfections.

So glad they are "right-hand retrieve only". That keeps the monkey off my back.

Purple haze for a Powell Endurance and Baron for the blue NRX. Nice looking reels with all the paint and bling work. For the price you would expect them to be perfect and not with imperfections. ](*,)

Nope. For that kind of money you could get a really nice Shimano or Daiwa that blows that reel out the water.

IMO, the paint jobs look kinda "toy'ish".
Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I have to agree. While cosmetics may be appealing when you're sitting at home, just sitting in your cave or fooling around with tackle, on the water the reel is in your hand when you're using it, and on the deck when you're using another setup.
Buy the best reel you can afford, not the prettiest.

I think this is more of a promotion to show what they can do.

My issues would be that the paint would not hold up as well as the factory paint. The prices aren't bad if you think about it though. How much would it cost to add all of the goodies and get a paint job done on any of your reels?

Having said that, I would rather buy a reel I wanted and customize it myself and hire a painter with a trusted history.
