Conquest 100hg came in (size comparison)

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I just my shipping conformation from japan lure shop, it just landed in tokyo on the 2nd....wait its not the 2nd yet :big grin:

They best be processing that quick haha.

Post pics, I'm looking to get one too, but never had a round reel and I'm trying to talk myself into it, lol, not worried about the quality though. You shouldn't either, hehe

Good to hear.

Got a hedge hog carbon fiber handle for it and some RCS cork grips :)

Will post some pics and thoughts on the smoothness....

Smoooothness, love it and its pretty damn small, it also casts senkos like a rock star.
Now I just need some HH air bearings and a shallow spool to make her complete.
holds exactly 150 yards of 15lb Pline TCB 8 braid.

Very nice! Almost a twin to mine!

BTW, you should be able to use the factory handle but and retainer with that handle if you wanted to keep it all gold.

i love my carbon handles but it just doesn't look right on the conquest...i've changed all my other reels to them but i think i'll keep the gold handle on the cq...it looks ok but not enough for me to make the change...
