New Curado 70

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I just found out about this reel yesterday but can't find any pictures yet. Is this one on page 1 deleted or is it my internet.

Thanks

Good question there, I doubt it but I would be more interested if so......

My entire collection is made in Japan, which is something I have always wanted and makes me feel better. Doubtful real world it matters, but it matters to me:)

Here's to some exciting new Shimano gear in 2016, at least across the pond anyways......

Curado 200I is made in Malaysia so I doubt the 70 will be made anywhere else.

There is a small pic of the Curado 70 in the latest Bass Times. It says it has a newly enhanced braking system. I assume it has the same brakes as the Casitas and Metanium MGL. The reel looks to be narrower then the 200i. The brake knob is higher on the palm side plate.

Any news on whether or not it will get micro module? Jun said the scorpion 70 will.

Bantam1 said that only reels with a metal gear side plate will get the micro module gears. I wouldn't be surprised if the gear teeth are smaller though

All G Loomis, which is another thing I wanted to accomplish. GLX and below, but I'm very happy with where I'm at. The way my brain works is if it makes me feel better about it, it's worth it to me (and the fam:)

Like I said I'm sure origin of build has nothing to do with anything as far as fishability/catching fish.....
