Tdz spools

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Is the tdz type r spool and tdz Ito spool practically the same thing?? Just curious!

Yes. I have yet to find anything definitive that says otherwise. Based on my own observations the inductor tuning is the same.

the ito spool is allot harder to control than the type r+ to me....

Very much so, but compared to a standard Type-R they are the same. The inductors in the photo go Type-R, TD-Ito, Type-R+ (has the small ring around the inductor).

Original Type R and ito spools are the same. Type R+ and the IZE personal order spools are the same.
