Shimano Metanium MGL vs Metanium DC for casting distance.

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I'm looking to add a couple reels to my arsenal and am looking at one of the metaniums.
Either the regular 2013 Metanium, the new MGL version or a DC.
If anyone has any experience or info, I'm wondering which reel is the longest caster?
I'll be using it for cranks mostly so the average weight range will be 1/2oz.
