I might be wrong, but calling this specific reel as terrible chinese knock off reels doesn't sound right to me. This reel is latest LP model from http://www.eposeidon.com/teameposeidon/ and they claimed to be USA based company

Yep. They are a US based company that buys Chinese/Korean reels. Total ripoff if you ask me. They praise this company on another fishing site, but when you consider the source it makes it even more funny.

So I gotta throw this out there, but has anyone acquired one of these reels and have any on the water experience/comments?

Should we be selling all our daiwas and shimanos for these??

I can create a company tomorrow, name it whaterver I like and then sell a bunch of chinese reels branded as my own product. The kastking reels are sourced from the same place the Shishamo and Sixgill reels come from judging by the breaking system. Total garbage IMO.

and so far, you haven't create any fishing reel company yet.. right? talk is cheap (in fact typing here is free with $0 charge except for internet bill)

To be fair they have never denied that the Kastking reels are rebranded Trulinoyas.
