Daiwa SS SV 103* Spool tention click adapter

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Finished installing the adapter on my SS SV. Here's a tutorial on it if your interested.

First I test fit the adapter.

Let cure. I add weight to hold it in place.

Reassemble the reel(trying to speed it up....), Now add the leaf spring.

I use a fiber washer on these. I had one spring come out of the holder/adapter and it was near impossible to remove the cap. You could also use the stock o'ring as a keeper.
