English Manual for 2016 Antares DC?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

English Manual for 2016 Antares DC?

Post by freelancer27 » Mon Dec 05, 2016 6:57 am

Hi,
I pulled the trigger on a 2016 Antares DC from one of the Japanese Tackle stores. I havent received it yet, so I dont know if my post is actually needed, but I am assuming that the reel comes only with Japanese manuals.

Are there any English manuals out there?

Thanks!

I have this reel as well. Works and casts fantastic. Manual is only in Japanese. I wish there was an English version out there but doubt it unless they release a North American or Euro version.

The Antares DC used the 4x8 braking system that is found in the older Calais DC and Calcutta DC reels. Although they are not identical, I would imagine the English Manual would help you some in how to use the reel. Not so much for the schematics and such though.
