Shimano 2017 Icast rumor mill ...

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Fan club? What are you on about now?
Both of us work in the industry (I think). And I can promise you, unless you are sponsored (not prostaff) you'll almost never see the spot deals we see. We live in that world 40+ hours every week.

I cannot believe more info hasn't leaked... seems tighter than last year's, maybe just more surprises this year.
EPIC

I get great deals without having to be in the fan club now days !

Although I use to be a member. Then one day I woke up and realized I had drank too much of the cool aid !

What ever happened to the old TT pre iCast crew ? I sometimes think all the hype, speculation, and anticipation swirling around pre show helped to build attention to the new products. Yall no fun !

Wait ! ...

Ahhhh ... its this thread ya'll afraid of ! ?

Bucket... If y'all are in the industry I can respect why your "not allowed " to say anything and the fan club comment was out of line. The reason I quoted y'all was for all the teasing comments with no info !

The rumor mill thread was created for people to share info or leaks in good TT fun like it use to be pre iCast.

All this has me wondering what's coming for ICAST 2018. If we start talking about it now will it make it even wilder next year?

Is there a picture available of the article? Also is it designated as an MGL spool or not?

Same here, I searched bass times curado and some other forum came up, new thread with only around 3 replies. Micro Gears were mentioned but no MGL spool, I was starting to wonder why anyone would want a Chronarch MGL if the new Curado had everything it did, would actually be a positive to have a cheaper price and aluminum frame to me. Only downfall would be made in Thailand vs Japan I can think of...

The latest issue of Bass Times I have is Vol.47, No. 6, June 2017.
It has a full page ad on page 29 for the Chronarch MGL, but there's nothing in it for a Curado.

From another forum, hope it isn't an issue, just for the picture though.

Scroll down to the bottom, was like the 5th or 6th post I think. Sadly all it looks like is micro module, no MGL.

So if the new "J" Curado is a 200, will the 70 "I" be replaced with the "J" or maybe they will offer a 50 8-) ?

Old 200 E series has a lighter sool than MGL in 150 SIZE, nothing to be sad about IMHO. Let's see what this will look like. I would prefer 150 size but I guess too many 150 size reels already in shimano lineup.
