Daiwa Steez A TW vs Daiwa Steez SV TWS
Hi all,
I am deciding between the two reels:
* Daiwa Steez A TW Casting Reel
* Daiwa Steez SV TWS Casting Reels
I would like to use the reel for some inshore fishing as well. The Aluminium one seems to be the choice here but I on this Japanese tackle website it seems like this is also indicated for salt water use: http://japantackle.com/casting-reels/da ... 00195.html
Has anyone had the chance to fish either / both of them?
What ya guys thinking?

Steez A because for that money, I wouldn't want to worry about corrosion.

Steez A , i have waited many years for an alloy Steez, got one and love it. Have a second one on the way. About time the saltwater fishos got something. Dont trust magnesium no mater what coatings they put on them, one scratch and the magnesium will start to dissolve like aspro clear.

Will the SV TWS handle, with bearings, fit on the A TW?

Or you could keep the stock handle on the Steez A and add 4 pack of Hedgehog Studio handle knob bearings very easily... The Tackle Trap installs these on every Steez A we sell prior to shipping out when guys use the "TT10" discount code at checkout on the site.mark poulson wrote:Will the SV TWS handle, with bearings, fit on the A TW?

Thanks all.
I went with the Steez A. It was the overall winner and I am happy so far with it.
