DIY spool fir curado 70 on ebay

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

do i need to pull the entire braking assembly from my current spool to put on this? Is it difficult?

i saw that. i had one for my 50e, and i just has to but the actual weights on the pins. the 70 is different so i did not know if it meant i had to pull the entire assembly off the shaft. how does one do that?

I did the brake show swap, but photobucket removed the pics. It's really easy, just use needle nose tweezers to push out the metal pin that the brake shoe is pivoting on and put them on the new spool.

was it any good? i am considering getting a scorpion bfs but thought this might be a cheaper option

I only fished it once with a 4 gram lure. I wasn't overly impressed from that one experience. It could be a great spool But I haven't had enough time on it to make a real statement on its performance.

You can buy it on aliexpress with freeshipping: http://ali.pub/1pf61n
Brake block is on it, BUT, you can get 2 brakes from stock spool and put it on this.
It looks like that (this is Casitas spool, for example):

i ended up ordering one for my tatula ct. it if works out well, ill try one on one of my curado 70's
