Use or not use???

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I have two NIB Ito 103 reels...your choice. Curious question...did your reel come with the Daiwa red/orange oil? If so, does the small plastic bag it came in come with a blank bag or one with Japanese writing/symbols of some sort on it? Thanks!

You could use it, but just in situations where it won't get dinged instead of as a true workhorse. I do that with a couple reels. But you have to be ok with it ending up near mint rather than perfect.

Clear plastic bag with a warning label on it with the Japanese symbols/writing. Funny cause I thought us Americans only needed warning labels

You should sell me one of yours so I can add another to fish with and save one.

Haha only if the price was right! One of mine has the red/orange oil with a clear bag (nothing on it). The other is the exact same oil with a clear plastic bag and black symbols/writing that looks like a triangular recycling symbol or something. They must have been interchangeable or just what they had in the production line. Where did you buy yours from?

Use it. When the fishing gets tough, you'll still smile when you look down at that beauty.

Use it. As awesome a reel as they are , enough were made, and enough new pop up that if you had to have another new, even after all these years they are still to be found.
