Agree not just as a statement but in practice. I do a fair amount of night fishing and I don't have to turn up the breaks any more at night. I can just kind of feel when the bait is slowing down at the end of a cast to thumb the reel when I can't see the bait. I literally can fish all night without a backlash or losing distance.
