Sadly done with Shimano Baitcasters

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Agree not just as a statement but in practice. I do a fair amount of night fishing and I don't have to turn up the breaks any more at night. I can just kind of feel when the bait is slowing down at the end of a cast to thumb the reel when I can't see the bait. I literally can fish all night without a backlash or losing distance. Fishing the bank and avoiding the bushes at night is a different story!
