Shimano cross carbon drag washer swap

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I help out a lot of buddies and work on their reels during the offseason. I was wondering if any of the cross carbon drag washers that shimano puts in their new reels would retrofit back into curado E7's or CH100d7s? I usually like to ditch the dartanium washers if at all possible.
