Older Daiwa Spinmatic 500T

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Older Daiwa Spinmatic 500T

I'm looking for an older Daiwa Spinmatic 500T ultralight spinning reel (the silver one). I know most of you use the high-end expensive model reels, but this tiny reels a simple one with not a lot of "bells and whistles" and has a super smooth drag and is the light weight I'm looking for that is now almost impossible to find. I have two that I have used for years now and with the type of fishing I do, they are perfect reels for my little rods. All ultralight reels are made heavier now.

I have several of the S and Z versions.
Great little reels. I have them on my crappie rods.
I also enjoy using the 500 size Shimano spinning reels.
