What's REALLY next for Daiwa
Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa
It is the CT sized reel, a Tatula SV with different cosmetics. After looking to see if those handles were available, I found that there is a Prorex LT spinning reel too with purple trim.

The 4th Project T video is up on YouTube. More video of Steez CT with the pros giving their thoughts on the reel.
According to sources the reel will be available in the US Market and will be introduced at the Classic in March.

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa
Interesting question that I really didn't think to ask....
I would guess the CT with the smaller spool is considered to be more of a specialized reel for smaller presentations, therefore I am guessing the Steez will remain in the lineup....

Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa
34 mm platform is such versatile and there’s huge amount of spools that can be used with it. Therefore it would be strange in my opinion if there shall not be regular sized 34 mm Steez anymore…Or could they think at Daiwa that Steez A + Morethan are enough for 34 mm, Steez will be more Finesse reel…? But if so, why new one is named as ct Steez? I consider regular Steez remains.
Re: What's REALLY next for Daiwa
At this point you can order the Steez CT, Steez SV TW, and the Steez A. Anything past right now is just a guess.

A Luna 103 is pretty compact. I don't think they can go much smaller without having a gearbox hanging off the side, which sort of defeats the purpose of the round reel design, IMHO. It looks the same size to me, especially with those spacers.Hogsticker2 wrote:Ultra compact new body Millionaire. So the description says. I hope soy2k88 wrote:A little bit about the Millionaire

Also, it doesn't surprise me that the Steez CT will be available here since pretty much every Steez aside from the LTD and TN have been. It would surprise me if the Millionaire or Alphas will be, though. I'm not sure about the SV105 or Sol, but I don't think the Luna sold very well.
This is the way.

Which reel do you guys think would pair best with a Megabass Destroyer FMJ?
Steez A, SV, CT SV, or the new Morethan?
