Thanks.
I’d say at least in the 100-130 m range based on what I’ve spooled with braid and a couple monos.

The decals are a deal breaker for me, I think they look tacky as hell. I have a steez sv tw with gold accents on a Destroyer 17 and it looks pretty sharp, I’ll try to snap a picture of it if I can ever get the lighting at my house to look reasonable.

Sorry, should have been more clear about that. I just meant that the Steez A can use any 1016 size. The Steez A spool looks to be a good bit deeper than the Morethan PE TW's spool.

Hm, now I am confused

Will wait for exact confirmation before I will pull the trigger. I need at least the line capacity of the Steez SV TW (14 # - 100 yards) for the technique that I would like to use the reel for.

Here's how it compares with a zillion 1016 spool. I may have over-estimated how much line I had spooled on there. Maybe you do want something deeper.

Whoops; zillion g1 spool from the sv tv. Meant to snap with with a spool from steez sv tv but wife telling me kids have to put to bed. Let me know if you need that comparison; if so will resnap later

Appreciate the time to take these!

I think I better go with the Steez A 8.1. Deeper spool for the line and 100 USD cheaper. I have another 1016 spool that I could use for the Morethan though... Hm.

Any feedback on how the reel performs in general (vs other Steez reels)?

Thanks again!

Daiwa site says this reel holds 200m of PE1.5, so apacity should be the same as 1016 spools, ie 100m of 16lb. Probably Japanese line though

Thanks for you guys giving info for this reel.

…Very solid feeling reel…That sounds very nice. (I have loved my SV Zillion but OG HLC Zillion feels more solid and more smooth.)

Does this spool of new Morethan fit to sv tw Steez and/or sv tw Zillion? Or does Steez 103 spool and so on fit to new Morethan?

Yes and yes. All are 34 mm spools.

Pulled the trigger on the X high gear. 2019 already taught me that one also has to enjoy life in hard times...

Will report back once I had to fish it (hope over the weekend).

Cheers.

Have to say that I’m struggling with keen interest to buy this reel or not to waste my non-existing money for product that I don’t really need.

But I think it takes month or two and then I’m pretty sure that I need and deserve this reel :-)

Have they published full specs of this reel yet?
