Jdm Metanium or Chronarch Mgl

I’m in the process of building 2 rods
MHX elite X 844 mainly for 3/4 to 15/16 walking top water and some worming and jig fishing. But right now for a top water.
Then going to build a elite x 873.5 for worming
To this point I just bought 4 curado k and love them
But I want something a little lighter and more compact for these builds
The US metanium is out of the question.
But the chronarch mgl and Jdm met are so close price wise
Is one a better buy?

Thanks If I mainly plan on running 30lb braid
Is the spool depth on the jdm an issue?
I understand it might be with 20-25lb flouro.

Not a problem , it will hold well over 100 yards of 30 lb braid.

Jdm metanium. I had both & even got my chronarch mgl for $220, ended up selling it & getting another metanium. The jdm metanium is the best high end value reel for the price & if you order from japan lure shop, I’ve gotten a free megabass lure each time. Plenty of line capacity

Just ordered a JDM Metainium mgl, Already have a Chronarch mgl to compare . I just received an order from Japan Lure Shop and it had a vision 110 in it as a gift.

Yep, my last two reels I’ve ordered from them had vision 110s also & the colors have been above avg
