Hey what did you do to increase the drag in your SS SV? I can't see the pic.

Likely switched out all the drag washers with carbontex
Re: Daiwa 14 SS SV 103SHL Weak Drag
I ended up putting the Tackle Trap kit that gives you a 3 washer stack but if you get a new drag washer and use drag grease you can get a little more power out if it.Bassbandit2 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 7:42 pmHey what did you do to increase the drag in your SS SV? I can't see the pic.

The SS SV has a single stack drag assembly. The main gear doesn't have the notches for the eared washers that are required for the multi-stack drag assembly to fit and work.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

SS SV105s do though. They are the SS SVs to get but are kind of rare compared to the abundance of SS SV103s out there.

Same problem with steez namiki, has the same gear/drag from ss sv 103. I run mine dry, still slips on hookset if not completely tightned down.
