Hey E73Bass. Where is the new Zillion CT. Did your source screw up and say CT instead of HD or is the reel coming out at a later date.

Sure the Admira is light, but how many people really like flashy reels like that? Part of the reason I've stayed away from Daiwa is the flashy plasticky look that a lot of their reels, even the expensive ones, seem to have.

I'm with you. The two slightly different colors of blue make my brain hurt. I wish the reel body was silverish with all of the blue accent pieces or the body was blue with gunmetal accent pieces. The good news is that the color doesn't affect how it fishes I suppose.

Tackle Warehouse states that both sideplates are aluminum on the coastal I think, which would be a nice upgrade.

No mention of SV, Magforce Z or even Magforce. I bet that is one of those vertical jigging reels. Daiwa makes a ton of those. They have them on the Alphas, Tatula and Steez TW platforms. This is probably the Steez CT version.

It's on a 34mm platform, so no.
p.s. There is nothing "coastal" about the Coastal other than the blue color.
