Shimano Aldebaran Purchase

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Shimano Aldebaran Purchase

Post by cadman » Tue Jul 23, 2019 6:44 pm

I am looking for (6) new Shimano Aldebarans. I believe Tackle Trap doesn't sell Shimano anymore (I maybe wrong). Where are some good places with good prices? If you want to PM me that would be fine as well. Thanks in advance

I have had good success with Digitaka. Aldebaran's are about $300.

Assuming you don't mean the latest MGL 30 version, keep an eye on the for sale section of this board, as well as other popular forums like BBC. I've seen a few listed lately, barely used at a significant discount from new prices.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Digitaka is good but if I was ordering that many you might get a better deal at Japan Lure Shop and you will get a few free lures as well

Yeah, but for that $17 extra, you will likely get a $20 lure with the order. I always did when I got a reel from them.
