Andy Montgomery/Daiwa

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Happened to me. Place 1st or 2nd in a clubbie get $400-$500 and then lose a $1000 combo off the side of the boat.

I really think it is just about money, not product. For the right money I would certainly change brands, of underwear or almost anything else.
Let's not go to far! It's hard to fish with a wedgie :D

I think that this move likely tells us that there really isn't that much money in rod and reel sponsorship, or else KVD wouldn't have made the move. Does anyone know if Quantum is in financial trouble? You may be right in that Lews is a better product, but I love the privateer mentality anyway. I'll take a Daiwa or Shimano reel without sponsorship any day!

What are you talking about? They make excellent hammers.
