OG Zillion High Speed Levelwind

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Wondering what's your experience with upgrading from the standard. What gear ratio and what size braid/line have you used that you thought warranted the change? Did it make a noticable improvement?

Will help with thin braid, but they tend to wear out quickly.

Thanks. I recently bought a used Zillion and the worm gear has some slight grooving. Was thinking about replacing it with a high speed version because I currently have 65lb braid on it and was getting some uneven spooling, but it's possible I put it on too loose. I'll pull the gear out and polish it a bit to get it smoother and put the line back on tighter and see how that goes.
