I think so too. They could make some sort of cutout in the frame but then the dial would have to stay in while the DC unit can be taken off and that would make things even more complicated.

What the reel test guy didn’t point out - the front opening of that new bantam variant cuts way deeper into the frame. So we have a whole new frame coming in? Still DC? I’d prefer a pike-sized bantam

Check 3:30 of the video he mentions about the top of the frame being extended out.

The spool looks like the one on the Scorpion DC. I would assume this is a JDM only reel.

bantam dc or xt, new stradic ci4, a new metanium with mgl 3 spool, and some new variant of conquest dc.

didnt think of a bantam xt. so from the video on youtube that was posted here that reel would more than likely be a bantam variant than the metanium i would think. but not a bantam dc unless they have changed dial locations somehow.

The Yokohama fishing show starts on January 17.
