Daiwa Project T 2020
Daiwa Project T 2020
The Project T Begins video is up on YouTube. The only thing that stands out to me are the two Tatula looking reels on Brent Ehrler's boat deck look like they have chrome thumb bars.

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
I saw the video and actually was disappointed as when I red 2020 in the title, the idea of a Daiwa Z TW 2020H came to my mind but guess I'm asking too much and I already have 5 Zs

Do you have the yellow limited edition Z2020?Carlos Carrapiço wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 4:25 pmI saw the video and actually was disappointed as when I red 2020 in the title, the idea of a Daiwa Z TW 2020H came to my mind but guess I'm asking too much and I already have 5 Zs

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
First pic looks like a Steez CT frame. Maybe a trickle down?

It is hard to tell in that blown up blurry pic but the whole mag dial is visible. It looks like a Tatula 100 side plate.Hobie-Wan Kenobi wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 5:38 pmFirst pic looks like a Steez CT frame. Maybe a trickle down?

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
I have noticed in the past the first kickoff episodes of Project T usually show some existing models.
Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
There are a couple of shots where the palm side plate looks like the tatula with a Vector D logo instead of the "ghost" spider. I hope it is just the Tatula Elite.

An aluminum Zillion version of the Steez CT would be just fine with me. Throw a deeper Mag Z spool in it...Hobie-Wan Kenobi wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 5:38 pmFirst pic looks like a Steez CT frame. Maybe a trickle down?
Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
Yes, yes! Really wishing for ct sv tw Zillion. And 70 Size Magforce Z spool. Magforce V might be good in 70 size also.

Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
I thought the only difference was the shape of the arbor. Is there something besides that to differentiate Z from V?
This is the way.
Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
Those works similarly. Centrifugal force (against spring force) pushes inductor ring to magnetic field. Weights in V are in bigger angle than in Z, and therefore V might be better in light use.

I wasn’t even aware of the existence of a yellow Z.
Re: Daiwa Project T 2020
On video time 1:11 Cody Meyer is making some knots and reel seems to be CT Steez frame.
