Daiwa Project T 2020

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Yes, yes! Really wishing for ct sv tw Zillion. And 70 Size Magforce Z spool. Magforce V might be good in 70 size also.
I thought the only difference was the shape of the arbor. Is there something besides that to differentiate Z from V?
Spool with V classification were originally designed as pitching reels. Z reels have rotor, spring combination more suited to casting.

On video time 1:11 Cody Meyer is making some knots and reel seems to be CT Steez frame.

Hard to tell without a shot of the palming side plate but it does look like the T Wing is silver instead of gold colored which would indicate it is probably a Tatula.

oh boy...more black reels!!

i'm not sure i need a reel that fast. i sometimes think i used to catch more fish when my fastest reel was 28" ipt.

i couldn't really tell much from the video, other than brake dial looks to be more protected. is this new zillion on the same frame as the tat elite/100?

It looks like the new Zillion has the same frame as the current Zillion SV but it now has the palm plate like on the latest Zillion HD.

The color is pretty cool. I bet 11 to 1 is going to be glow in the dark!!!

And they added the bumpers on top, like the OG Zillion.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Given the emphasis on IPT and a single ratio shown, I suspect this may be part of a multi-zillion (variants) release deal with the ct (ala steez ct) zillions coming next or soon.

A Steez CT Zillion wouldn't have enough capacity or balance out well with some MH and H rods. I would bet they at least use the Steez A platform. Most likely it will be an upscale Tatula like the Zillion TWS and Zillion SV if we even get that. They may just update the current Zillion.

Zillion SV TW 1016... Looks damn good to me. I believe the video shows two gear ratios. I dig the engine plate cover.
