Zillion 10.0 -
Handle rotation - 106cm
Weight - 215 grams
Spool - 34mm
Handle - 90mm
XXH model. Possibly others? Sounds like Daiwa is pushing it as a frog / top water reel.
Engine plate is a titanium finish. Frame is matte black, side plates gloss black.

hopefully there will be some new rods coming with the reels. i'm a huge daiwa rod fan.
Likewise...
I know of one very interesting model coming soon to the US market. More details should be available in the next week or two
Hopefully Racing Design. Highly doubtful but, one can wish.
Not specifically what I"m referring to, but that would certainly be sweet too. I am really impressed with the 701M/MH model. Mine is paired up with a Steez CT, wow

i take it this was the hint on the "high end jig rod" thread on bbc? i got bottom contact covered...i'm hoping for something like 6'11 firewolf shore competition!!! even better if it's got the same reel seat as the australian version
You saw that too? I haven't looked at the Aussie version, what reel seat are they using? Personally, I'm a huge fan of the new Air Sensor reel seat...

That orange Zillion is the Sol in Aistralia. Just different paint and handle versus the usdm zillion.

it looks to be the same seat used on either the heartland or the old tds seat.
is the air sensor the newer fuji pts-type seat? i'm probably going to assemble a rod this winter, and got 1 of those in. i'm pretty sure i can be happy with it from the initial feel of it.

That titanium coated blue'ish tint is so good looking. Why can't they make a full reall like that, even if its for a limited edition version. I would get it without thinking if its an alphas or a steez

It's my understanding that the new Air Sensor reel seat is a Daiwa exclusive. I like it better than any other reel seat in any previous Daiwa rod family. It is sleek, comfortable, allows for nice blank exposure, doesn't have any annoying protrusions or wings
