28mm!!! If KTF makes a shallow version....whew. Or...that Russian guy makes a carbon fiber spool

$625 is a little rich though. Maybe I will sell some more stuff.

Obviously 30 mm ct reels were selling good, and also aftermarket spools. Daiwa has drawn conclusion that there is market for even finer finesse reel.

And, sure, Karil and others will produce aftermarket spools. But I consider that this Original 28 mm Air spool will be that light that it will be challenge to beat significantly. T3 Air spool weights 9.21 g. I guess that 28 mm Air spool will weight something 7 g.

They could have shown a little more effort for that handle and dragstar regarding that price tag.
135g is sick though =D>

9:1? Ugh. Finesse fishing is usually about slow!

Wishing that they will make less expensive reel for that 28 mm spool. Pixy with spacers? Or better; Zillion Air in Steez Air frame, but aluminium.

Traditionally... “Air” reels are JDM only.

And $100 more for the Zillion 10 over the current Zillion SV ... maybe a price increase coming on USDM reels ?

Don't forget that the spool is really small.
9,1:1, that's 80cm/crank. Comparing to the Steez 1016 SV TW SH 7,1:1 75cm/crank.
The 6,8:1 gear is very slow: 60cm/crank.

Finessing plastics is about the rod. The speed to pick up slack line as fast as possible is helpful for those light "pickup and spit out" finesse bites.

right? something about the handle/knob combo and the holes in the frame make it look cheap to me
