Daiwa Tatula 1000 LT

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Daiwa Tatula 1000 LT

Post by Just_Bass » Wed Dec 25, 2019 11:53 am

I’m in the market for new spinning reel. I look hard on Daiwa Tatula LT since I like it a lot more than Stradic ci4. I have ci4 2500F for bass, Daiwa legalis LT 1000 and Sahara 750 for panfish. I’m going to buy Tatula LT 2000 since this reel will be use for both bass and crappie but I found a deal on 1000 instead. Upon checking both 1000/2000 spec they are pretty much the same only spool size a little bit different 1-2mm. Have anyone that have both try to fit spool for one to another? Thanks

The 1000, 2000, and 3000 all have about the same size bodies, but the spools vary.
I use the 1000 with 8 or 10lb braid and it's perfect for all finesse fishing.
The 3000 shallow spool version of the Tatula LT has the same line capacity as the 1000, but with a larger shallow spool. It's really great for keeping the line from causing problems. I use 15lb braid on the 3000.
I highly recommend them.
