New 2020 Shimano Metanium

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

He’s now a full Shimano/G Loomis Pro
So, has he given up the Enigma rods that he helped design? I'm aware that he's used Met reels for a number of years, but he got a bunch of $ to leave Megabass for the start up rod company. I haven't used or kept up with Enigma rods, so just curious...

EDIT: found an article that says just that...

The real reason he left is still an enigma. ;)

At least I won't have to look at Stella - Enigma combos anymore.

I wonder if the Duo Japan guys made fun of his setup at lake Biwa...

I pre-ordered mine and was told it will ship out mid February. I bought from American legacy Fishing, $377 with their 10% discount when you sign up for their newsletter.

No way you're getting it in Feb... it's not even coming out in Japan until March. I haven't seen a US release date yet but I might have missed it.

When you click the [CC] icon, it enables subtitles, then tells you to change settings, click the gear icon. From there you can click Subtitles/CC > Auto-Translate > English.

Thanks for the video marin12!

There's also a Yumeya shallow spool for the 20 Met.

I saw that they posted that shallow spool a few days ago, What I can't understand is why
they don't state the spool size!

From the information that we have the JDM 2020 Met is 70 size. I'm assuming the shallow spool option is a 50 or 30 size.
