New ZPI Alcance

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

i wish that spool would fit other reels I would probably buy the reel, take the spool out, and send the reel back to lews or bass pro for a refund they wouldn't know the difference.

Lol! You might be right.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I hate to say it but that frame is strikingly similar to some of the Chinese reels that are making rounds lately. Not sure I'd try one myself.

It has already been established that it is the same as a BPS reel. As the linked thread below unfolded, I threw up a little in the back of my mouth.

This is so sad they chose this direction. Never had a zpi spool, I've just now started fishing the higher level gear and I can say for sure that's on the no list for me.

Shallow version will have very shallow sales, just like the original
