Anyone know if the 7.1:1 that was recently added to the CT lineup will be coming to USA as a offering anytime soon?
Also any word on if the revamped Zillion SV 10 will be offered in other gear ratios ?
6.3 and 7.1 perhaps ?
New Gear Ratios for Steez CT and Zillion 10 ?

I’m gonna go with a hard no on the Z10, otherwise it wouldn’t be called the Z10

This is the 10.0 gear ratio model of Daiwa 16Zillion SV TW 1016 reels, with following upgrades like G1 SV spool, aluminum spool holder, metal star drag, metal main shaft post cover, new slim knobs and new palming side cup. With these new upgrades, this Zillion 10.0 is totally different Zillion SV TW than other gear ratio models. I hope Daiwa releases other gear ratio models like 6.3 and 7.2 in the same construction as this Zillion 10 soon.

Honestly even if the CT' 7.1 does come to the US the price is in the hundreds of dollars more than buying one from Japan right now. It doesn't make any sense, and I don't know why Daiwa US is doing this to the retailers here. $699 here $467 -$487 Japan. Absolutely no disrespect, but why wait? Even if you get the hook up at 25% off you're still looking at $525+ tax. You're still buying a Japanese reel not made in the US anyway. The most expensive part that can fail are the gears, but even if you had to buy a new gear set it would still be less than buying a steez from here. I wish it was the other way around, but unfortunately it's not. It's an awesome reel by the way if you haven't tried one already.
