Daiwa Tatulion Custom

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

It's like they swept up all the spare parts off the floor and made a reel.

Before it's made - they're collected in a "parts bin" first.

Bastardised "Tatula" / "Zillion" = "Tatulion"

You can just see the meeting with the marketing guy at the head of the table... "so we're all in agreement"...

Is it me or is Daiwa continuously taking 1 step forward, then 2 steps back.

:laugh1: HAHAHAHAH TATULION JUST KILL ME NOW
This has been the worst year for reel releases I have ever seen

Daiwa
New 2020 Tatula CT
Is actually a last gen 2016 Tatula CT with new knobs and a downgraded nut retainer

New 2020 Tatulion
A literal joke of a reel

Shimano
New 2020 Curado 70K MGL

Shimano: the new generation Curado K based 70 is finally here and in MGL
Anglers: that's just the Curado 70I from 2015 with MM gears and green parts on it.
Shimano: shut up

Someone explain this one to me. How is Magforce Z possible on a spool arbor this small? If it is a misprint then why does this keep happening with Daiwa?

A reel made for TATULOIDS and nobody else.

I think that alphas air stream was the last proper 'custom' reel Daiwa has made. Ever since Daiwa made those G80's or whatever doyo garbage reels were called, its like they're going full mongoloid now. Were the higher ups replaced or something? This isn't normal.

We're hitting Tatula levels that shouldn't be possible.
