Anyone have an idea of what shimano will be releasing this year? I saw there’s an online fishing show at the end of the month where they will be showcasing new products.

I read about a bantam dc a while back.

I think so, I saw they posted on the shimano Japan Instagram page there was the 2021 fishing festival starting January 22nd where they were showcasing new products. They are also celebrating their 100 year anniversary in March, I saw some people are thinking they will released new reels then.

Hopefully something with HEG gears in it and get rid of the crappy micros.

I purchased an Antares and another three Stella FJ’s since Thanksgiving so I hope to see nothing else

Until the new NRX that is.

I hope something worth collecting to commemorate 100 years

A new BFS reel would be nice. Been since 2017 they gave us the Scorpion BFS and Conquest BFS. Maybe a BFS reel with its own frame.

That would be cool, or maybe a new aldebaran. I need one for my jerkbait rod, might need to wait a couple weeks

I really hope they don't do a curado BFS on the current frame. I think it isn't small enough to be anything other and power bfs. Especially if they go with a 28mm spool similar to Daiwa it will be super awkward on that frame. I would love to see an updated Aldebaran or conquest or a new frame would be cool. I wonder if they could do a ftd dc?

Yes it was. Didn’t show any pics or actual items though.
