New twinpower XD C3000?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Any feedback on the new Twinpower XD in the 3000 size? 7.1oz is pretty light. Like the blue color.

I bought one a few weeks ago, probably my favorite spinning reel I’ve ever had. I’ve only fished it for 2-3 hours but it’s super smooth and tight. I’ve been using a stradic ci4+ for a few years and it’s been great but the twinpower just has a different feel. Can’t wait to put it to use soon!

Awesome think I may get 2 of the 3000 if I can find them right now.

Can you confirm if the handle knob can be replaced with other Shimano knobs/bearings?

That would be a deal breaker for me if not; but I'm hopeful it can be changed like all other mid-high end Shimano.

Thanks.

I’m not sure, I don’t have any extra Shimano parts laying around, I’m a Daiwa guy for the most part
