How good are these reels?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

How good are these reels?

I was wondering how good these reels are? And what would be a decent price for one today if they're worth anything?

Fantastic reels. Wish I never would have sold mine. On the heavier side, but solid as a rock like most early 2000's Daiwas were. I would think in nice one could garner $75-125 depending on condition, box, manual, and most importantly the buyer.

Thank you. I wasn't sure. This one is for 75.00, like new. I might pick it up.

They're like a big boy Alphas. I have a Black Widow I plan to use for throwing baits at 1 oz and up. I would think of it as more of a big bait than an all around bass reel.

Heck, that's a no brainer at that price. Think of it as a TDX HSD combined with a Gen 1 Zillion and it describes that reel pretty accurately.

At $75 it's an excellent purchase. My brother still has one that he bought way back and it's an excellent caster and very smooth. It casted better than an OG Zillion.

I ended up getting it. Should be here by the end of the week.
