Metanium xg vs 100xg differences

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Metanium xg vs 100xg differences

Post by green weenie » Sun Dec 31, 2023 4:41 pm

Just got 3 of the 100xgs in and noticed no nylon-flouro-braid switch. I thought these reels were supposed to be almost identical except for the spool change. Any other notices/thoughts?

I have both so maybe I’m
Getting them confused. Don’t the non-dc xgs have the switch on the bottom? The reels are in the boat.
