Anyone tried these decal kits from Wanees? They look kinda clean.

Wanees decal kits
Re: Wanees decal kits
Very interesting. I'm not sure that I want my reels to look like an engraved shotgun, but those look thick enough to provide some protection.
Re: Wanees decal kits
There are a ton of different colors and textures. And i am pretty sure that these were originally introduced to protect your reel from scratches since these decals are indeed thick. Kinda want to order one for my 21 zillion since the original silver is extremely ugly on these reels, but $25+shipping for stickers is kinda

The decals may be good on those beater reels with paint chips and dings that look like they have been drug behind a car on a gravel road. A much cheaper alternative to a new paint job or cerakote.

I'd say its pretty good for new reels as well. If you have a nos td ito that you'd like to use, these will 100% save it from scratches.Fishing4Fun wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 8:49 pmThe decals may be good on those beater reels with paint chips and dings that look like they have been drug behind a car on a gravel road. You can get them on Digitaka and get it shipped free with a reel purchase last I checked. A local tuner guy had some reels with these decals on them at a local fishing show. His were the thicker kind from Wanees, semi soft. I got to hold a reel and it didn't feel bad or uncomfortable. Not really my thing though. I've seen some clear, thin, cut to shape, vinyl(?) reel protectors online in Japan though I don't recall who makes them.

I wonder if they peel off easily. Especially when being baked under the sun.
