Line for a fiberglass rods...

Post by adriancean » Sat Feb 26, 2011 10:53 pm

What line would go on a fiberglass rod, mono or braid? For lipless, crankbaits, Minow, stickbaits ....

If your going to be ripping traps through the grass use braid, if not i would use FC its great all around line from bottom contact baits to reaction baits.

+1

I use Yozuri Hybrid in 12# for all of my cranking and ripping, but I'll use 55# braid for traps.

Which line you use on the Daiwa Zillion + Skeet Reese? What brand would be better?

x2 The rod already has enough give, I also put a FC leader as well.

I like Yo-Zuri. There are a lot of good copoly lines out there.
