favorite 10lb line non FC
Just wanted to see what your guys are using. I mostly ninja fish ponds so the biggest fish i've encountered is 6lb.
Re: favorite 10lb line non FC
I've really taken a liking to Sunline Super Natural. Of course, the YZH is a good, old standby.
Re: favorite 10lb line non FC
For a bait caster, Trilene XT. For a spinning reel, Sufix Elite.

I also like super natural, or suffix siege
stress-what happens between fishing trips
Re: favorite 10lb line non FC
I've bounced all around the mono landscape, and am currently fishing mostly Suffix Seige. Have not had any major issue with most name brands monos...some irritations here and there, but I have been fairly happy with Stren Original, most of the Trilene line-up, Maxima. I have heard great things about the Sunline Super NAtural, Machine Gun, and Defier

I love P Lne Flouroclear. Its FC coated but the price of mono. Use it from 6# up to 25#

Yo Zuri Ultrasoft (pale green)
Berkley Sensation
Trilene XT (tough stuff!)
Regular YZH
Izorline

RRR (Round Reels Rule!)

I use super natural and it's great. Pline CXX too but I don't use that in 10 lb.

CXX. I use it for crankbaits and jerkbaits. As most here know it has more memory than other lines, but it's other strengths far outweigh that for me. KVD conditioner has been a godsend.
Re: favorite 10lb line non FC
P Line CXX, Yo Zuri or Suffix.

CXX is very strong at 10 lb. rating. Difficult to break off when snagged.

I love Maxima 10lb green. It's a line not talked about much but I love it.

Re: favorite 10lb line non FC
The only mono I use is Maxima Ultragreen in 10lb. It is strong, thin, and abrasion resistant. I use it primarily on the north shore of lake superior when casting spoons for lake trout and steelhead. I catch quite a few so the fish don't seem to mind it, it casts well for it's strength, and holds up well to rocks and vegetation. It works best with moving baits but is sensetive enough for plastics and is a strong choice. My personal favorite.
