Ultimate CO-POLYMER poll...

Post by Bladerunner808 » Fri Mar 22, 2013 6:16 am

Who makes the best line of Co-Polymers overall?

For me, P-Lines Floroclears combination of a fluoro-coated/nylon is the best of all worlds. The best knot strength I've ever used in a line, supple as mono, UV resistant, not too much stretch, little deformation. LOVE IT. My favorite line for finesse. P-Line Voltage is my go-to for reaction baits.

Gamma Co-poly is probably my favorite. Used lines from 6-20 lbs & they all perform nicely with great handling. Izorline is super tough, but she handles quite a bit worse than Gamma. Pretty sure Trilene Hi-Test is co-poly & it's another solid line from my perspective.

Gotta go with Yo-Zuri I've used a year old Hybrid and had no issues. I use to love P-Line fluroclear but I had lost way to many small fish due to line breaks no where near the knot and where no abrasion occurred. I lost countless quality smallies on an Erie trip and when I called P-Line the person who answered could not explain to me any possible reason for the issue and said to ship the line back to them (at my own cost.) So they could test it and send out 2 new spools.

Haven't tried all of the above, but I really like Yo-Zuri Hybrid.
