On such a small reel do you get any dig in?
I'm going to buy me a spool of some light braid and do something with it..
probably some 15# test

I have no problems whatsoever with 6/20 PP braid on my Core 50Mg7 throwing weightless 4 & 5 in. senkos.

I have been using 16# SX1 on a Core 50 with no problems.

Try using a line conditioner, like KVD or Reel Magic.
