For the folks on here that use Defier monofillament line which one is the best choice? By best I guess I am looking for the one everyone one here raves about the handling and strength. It would be used for just about everything in the 12# line size for general bass fishing.
Option 1 - Redish colored spool

Option 2 - Green colored spool

If it is neither of these please provide a link to which one? If both of the above are equally good please breifely explain which you prefer.
Thanks everyone!

The green spool is the cats meow imo. Best treble hook line I've had the pleasure of using. Casts and handles like nothing else. The Defier Armillo will offer a little less stretch, doesn't handle quite as well, and tying knots can be a bit more tricky imo.

Green for reaction baits while the red is more suited to top waters

Shooter Defier is the best mono I have ever used.

Just make sure you shop by diameter. If you are used to a USDM 12lb test, then the 15-17 lb Defier will be comparable.

Thanks all! I ordered some of the green colored Sunline Defier Shooter in 13#. Should be close to a "standard" 10 to 12# equivalent.

Great comment, great line. I use the 13# for Pop Rs.

so much so I will be giving it a try to. So 12lb is more like 10lb. Anyone else planning on using this for Jerkbaits ?

I use 11 lb which is somewhere between typical 8 and 10 diameter wise.

Never thought I would pay $30 for mono and advocate it but I do, it's a fantastic line.
