Which braid for ds on spin reel?

I use PowerPro Super Slick 10# in bright yellow color to watch for line jumps, with a 7# fluoro leader.

Am curious to try Maxima.

I am using Power Pro Super Slick 20 lb and it's good enough for my needs.

Well, just one other to consider: Sufix Nanobraid.

I have not used it yet but it is a traditionally wound form of braid but much smaller in diameter than others, even smaller than Nanofil.

I am currently using 10 lbs. Sufix 832 in that bright yellow color, and I use about a 6 ft. of 8 lbs. Invizx fluorocarbon leader.

If you are fishing a finesse drop shot rig, you know, with a 1/0, 1 or smaller hook, I just can't imagine using larger than 10 lbs. braid tied to either an 8 or 6 lbs. leader.

i have switched over to sufix nanobraid for all but 1 reel (i only use spinning, and that reel has gliss on it for now, which i havent used yet)

i have used seaguar smackdown, sunline sx-1, sufix 832, power pro super slick, nanofil, among others, and the nanobraid is the best to me. i have used 6, 8 and 10lb and have not had breakage issues, not many wind knots (in fact none that i can remember). it casts great, and while you can see the twist in the line due to it not being round, it doesnt seem to affect performance much if at all.

Another vote for Sunline SX1. Really impressed with both the 10lb & 12lb.

Nanofil isn't good stuff. I now use it all n all my spinning reels
