YGK Waker Dread Fluorocarbon

Post by goblue » Thu Apr 21, 2016 2:21 am

Anybody have any experience fishing this YGK fluoro? Some quick
research online noted it was a new improved version of YGK Darm,
a line which Cal had said (years ago) was a solid fluoro, but a bit stiff/unruly.

I can't find any mention of it on the forums, so just thought I'd throw
this out there.

I have only used Dark and their PE lines, but Darm is very very low stretch and super abrasive resistant. Just imagine a full spool of high abrasive spec leader material i suppose. Some people can't handle Shooter and Toray SHU because of the stiffness and this one is a level above that.

Thanks for the response. I too heard that YGK Darm was uber stiff, which is why I was wondering if the waker dread was a more managable high end fluoro in the mold of the toray premium plus hi grade.
